Gatan. The wooden door seems to have break because it was damaged by the strong blow. When I watched the door neatly collapse, Sadias stepped on it and invaded the room. [A/N: Gatan is a sound effect.]
”I came for you.”
He walked to me with a gentle smile that did not change from the old days, I was suddenly hugged after he stroked my magic mark on my collarbone.
”I was scared. Let’s go home, my Angel.”
I want to try and run away in a hurry and I do not know the reasons to be shy and embarrassed, and he whispers into my ear more strongly. I felt like I heard a voice that was drawn from Olufen, who was supposed to be behind me.
”Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa…”
What’s this, what’s this? The smile I saw after a long time is very light. My whole body is hot. I saw Olufen while I was puzzled by being carried lightly on the shoulder. Even though it’s my place. Unforgivable. His fingers tightly gripped both of my shoulders. They’re not graceful fingertips like the old days, but it is the palm of a man who is gnarled.
”You don’t need to be protected anymore.”
The power loosened from his hands which gripped both of my shudders as he had noticed the surprise.
”You’re old enough to take care of yourself.”
I smile involuntarily to Sadias as he looks at me with a miserable face by lowering his eyes. You’re such a jerk. I have no choice. There are other things you can do, how old are you, idiot? Various words go around my head. What a waste. Did we care for each other?
”It is useless if there is no Angel. Have you forgotten our promise?”
”You decided to remember. I protect you, and you will heal my injuries. I promised to be with you all the time. But you don’t want to be my brother, do you?”
It’s been a question of mine for a long time. Why? Sadias was troubled and choked on his words, and aligned his gaze to me and I was prepared for his answer.
”Ever since I first met you, I’ve always loved you Angel.”
”What? I liked you, too.”
”…It’s not like that.”
Sadias used one of his hands to tilt my neck and attached another hand to the back of my head. And now Sadias’ face is getting closer to mine.
”…That’s what it means.”
It was in an instant that his lips touched mine. It felt soft. Like feathers……No way…”
”…! ? ! ? ! ? ! ! !”
”Oh, I’m sorry. I really wanted to tell you that I don’t want to be just your brother, but someone more important.”
But then you said you liked Lily, didn’t you? I only saw you as my brother. I can’t tell you that though? Sadias has continued stroking me who has become red and stiff.
”I love you. I love you.”
If you’re not here, my heart will be broken, I take my hands away and Sadias continues whispering those words while pressing on my forehead to pray.
”Oh…I don’t know yet.”
It was not unpleasant. I seem to have conveyed my feelings well to Sadias. The lips that I had touched softly were a certain temperature.
“I’ll definitely drop it.”
I only wish that my speedy and noisy heartbeat won’t be transmitted to Sadias who is always laughing.
